Hey guys !

Just as I was mentionning it in the facebook group thingie, I've found some superawesome rates for return tickets to Amsterdam for TEN euros !

So I'm going to hit the town, depending on when you all are available. In August, definitely since i can really go earlier, and either during the week or for a weekend.

Whoever wants to see me (or plainly have beer, i'm not picky), please let me know WHEN you can make it.

We're going to make this work.
I SHALL RETURN TO HEERCHLAND ! WHOOHOO !

As far as my plans are, i'm available in august except for the time i'm at Metalcamp (3-12 aug) the rest of the month i'm available weekdays and weekends. You're welcome to stay at my place as well, as always! I was thinking about organising a BBQ in one of the weekends after metalcamp, so maybe we can combine things... you tell me when you come, i'll arrange a dutchies BBQ ;)

August is a bad month for me but everything is negotiable up to a certain point.
The weekend of 11/12 august and 18/19 are a definite no-go however. All other weekends and even weekdays should not be a problem to keep free. :)

Wandering around for the next five weeks, will be back in Amsterdam afterwards. :)

I'm also planning on going to metalcamp if I manage, so also probably free the whole of August besides 3-12. But when I'm free I should be free the whole day.

Okay, so I moved into a new place, got extra work shifted and stuff, but I can probably make it on a couple of days from 29th till 31st of august, would that be good ? In and out of Amsterdam.

I actually already booked the way in to secure the 5€ ticket. I'd only have to book the return ticket, most probably on another company as the 5€ tickets are sold out for the way back :/

So... Any good ?

Sure, why not. :) And if you're looking for a place to crash in town, I have a couch available. (29-31 August are working days for me though, so I guess I'll only be available in the evenings really unless I take one or more days off, which is something I just might do.)

Would be cool if others were available then as well (Steven? Marcel? Bart? Ferdi?), so we could have a pre-party for the BG forum meeting in September. :D

btw: the weekend of 31 August/1 September, Occultfest is in the north of the Netherlands. Amongst others, the band of Nima is playing there.

Huuuuuh Occultfest, good times good times, but sadly, I'm working on the 1st and really early (start at 5:30am) which is why i'll need to leave the day before. My glorious return to Groningen shall wait some more. Still, I'm going to poke around on the facebook ground see if anything is doable.

I'm aware it's all happening weekdays though, but hey, the first step is the most important :)

Quite an awesome rendez-vous it will definitely be Sarah, but unfortunately I can't take part in it. I've been in a bit of a financial crisis for some time now (got myself in it), although nothing to get too worried about. Still, I have practically 0 euro left at the end of the month, well, make that at the end of the third week after receiving payment  Therefore I really have to think 2 or 3 times before spending money on anything. I'm sure I'll get to see lots of pics after the heerschmeat though 8)

Hopefully my situation will make a change for the better soon (I'm practicing my salary negotiating skills, which are close to non-existent at present ....), I'd love to hang out with all you boys and girls again !

Michael, so what about the larger forum meeting/reunioin halfway September? Also impossible?

Mickeeeeeeeeey ! Great to hear from you, and sorry to hear about the money troubles.

Makes me think though, don't I STILL owe you money from the Ardèche holidays ? If so, I'd be happy to help out your finances, even years later (damnit. That's why nobody should EVER pay anything for me in advance. I MEAN it. ANYTHING !)

But yeah, if there's a choice to be made, it'd probably be a better choice for you to come to the september bash (more people to see and share the beer expenses and heersch with), but i'll gladly attend the ATM to help that out :)

Oh, and btw, anyone that I owe money to, let me know. I currently HAVE funds (for once) so now is the time for paybacks :D

That's really sweet, but also very unnecessary Sarah :) I'm in the process of recovering already, the worst is supposed to be (knock on wood) over. I'd like to meet you and all the other people I haven't seen for so long during the september meet, but I can't predict where I'm standing next month. So we'll see, if I have the opportunity I'll be sure to grab it !

... and it has been a while since we had a decent Mariokart clash  Like I said, it's going to be a real challenge to make it to the meeting, but I will try.

OH YESSSS...

(Fear me! I actually got better at Mario Kart without even playing that game. Speaking about games, there's one I just lost.)

Something I've wanted to ask for a while now : does the person who loses the game the least actually win the game in the end ?
