I actually called this topic 'group', rather than 'topic'. And where's the like button, help! I think I might actually be in need of it.

Eh, I'm a pretty regular user of Facebook, but the addiction is harmless! I swear! I just check Facebook every now and then for updates. In the morning, when I get home, every time I get bored.

Sometimes it seems many of the regulars of this forum kind of abandoned it for Facebook.

yeah... well, i guess the word addiction is a bit big...
But considering the fact that I started my facebook account because the people i befriended through this forum all left and were sharing their lifes on facebook... i guess you could say that that is right

Sad sign of the times. Those people probably stopped coming to the forums when they realised they could get all the BG news much faster from their fb page.
I still say the band should mention the forums on their fb page. Forum communities are great for a band.

Man, my wife is definitely addicted to facebook. You know things are really bad when you want to have sex and your wife replies: "wait a second, let me finish checking my newsfeed first.".

ok, I admit it ... I just love FB. When I'm at work and I have a spare moment, I run to see that's happened .... when I'm at home, the computer is always on and I go every half hour to see ... when I'm around, check with my phone .... when I'm somewhere where it is difficult to connect I'm on a crisis ...
The fact is that amuses me too much, it's how to be always in my village square to gossip about friends, colleagues and relatives about ...

I write on Facebook about...ya know, thinnngs...and later delete half of what I wrote. Or some. For those of you who remember, there is some cool forum nostalgia in that. I can never decide if I want Facebook to be a place of esoteric and concentric concentrations (I have no idea what that means; I just made it up), or a soul-cleansing, rampaging outlet for my rampaging rampages about the evils of the world...or if I should just show pictures of the dog and talk about the weather and the local sports franchises.

I like the news feed when it tells me about things I like, Star Trek and ZZ Top and margaritas. I dislike the news feed when people put pictures of the food they're about to eat on it. I want to kill those people. I like to divide my viewing audience into strict little camps, so if write something I can target certain people and hide it from certain others. I unsubscribe from people who write a lot of political stuff that agitates me. I don't like to be agitated.

Sometimes I deactivate and reactivate my Facebook account multiple times daily. I feel that Facebook is an idiotic concept for an idiotic populace. Then I begin to feel isolated from the community and from my interests because my window is gone. And then something happens and I think to myself, "Gotta put this on the Internet." You see, I'm so embarrassed to be using Facebook that I won't even speak its name aloud. Nonetheless, I reactive the account and the cycle continues.

I'm tired of typing. Bye.

Well, i have facebook open all the time. The thing is, i found my job over a facebook status update :) and it really changed things for me. Also, i am moderating several band pages and so over it. So, yes, i am addicted.
