I'm not a Christian, but a metal band singing lyrics like

The oath has been sworn
Three spells will be cast
For Katholick Magick and metal will last

Invoking the sigil of
Saint Michael the Warrior
Defender of Europe
The first spell has been cast

Invoking the sigil of
Saint Andrew, the Martyr
Protector of Europe
The second spell has been cast

Invoking the sigil of
Saint Mary, the Virgin
Mother of Europe
The third spell has been cast

is just totally amazing!

Atlantean Kodex - Temple of Katholic Magick \m/

2 days for me too. I'm going to stop in Gdansk and Berlin for sightseeing and attend the Blackmore's Night concert before I arrive at Wacken on Wednesday. Blind Guardian and Ritchie Blackmore are my all time favorite musicians. You can imagine how I am excited about the next week! :D

The studio is not easy to find...I searched a long time for it, but...when you don´t have a clue how it looks like it could be every building there
Btw, I sold my Wacken Ticket, and I´m so sad about it, cause I have the feeling that this will be the last Avantasia concert ever...and all of my fave singers are there! Hansi, Michi Kiske, Jorn Lande...damn :(

Killing spambots on the Blind Guardian forum is a bit similar to killing mosquitoes on a hike through Lapland... it's a virtually endless process.

But my 5 day hike through Swedish Lapland (71 kms total, packed with 17 kg of luggage, through the mountains) was pretty damn great nonetheless! Now relaxing a bit in Luleå. :)

nope.. throwing it away is wrong, drinking alcohol is perfectly right, as long as you know your limits.

My guess would be : you didn't purchase a ticket and therefore access was pretty much denied ? But one other thing you missed is the shitload of rain that fell there during the weekend, that's at least something to cheer for right

There's always next year too !

which shitload of rain?
only last night there was a high amount of rain, the other days we had some small showers during the nights, none lasting longer than 10 minutes and none throwing more water at us than we could handle. during the day it was dry, a bit of sun but not too hot...
in other words: the weather could hardly have been any better for a festival.

You Scott Pilgrim ?

And yeah, Wacken will still be there next year, unless the financial crisis and stuff bring an end to this world.

But then. In a world of madness and cannibalism. WACKEN SHALL ARISE AGAIN ! MUWAHAHAAAA !

The end of the world is only on December 21, next year. :)

Aw sweet then :)

And as random thoughts go, i'm supposed to go to a hard/glam rock evening on a barge on saturday. I don't even own black pants anymore...

I'm really getting too old for this :D

True Blood is really getting too weird-crappy for me...

So why am I so weak i keep watching, "just to see how far they're gonna go into shitland" ?

This combination of album title and album cover is so hilarious that it becomes brilliant (album is classic heavy/US power/speed metal from 1985):

Don't. Finish is way to complicated to learn for 6 pounds. There's a massive "if you fall for it, you're such a jackass you deserved to spill the money" hint given there. That's as subliminary as it gets...
