The random thoughts thread

I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where people can just post any random thought snippets, both silly/funny ones, and serious ones. Other than posting a random thought yourself, it's of course also fine to reply to others' random thoughts. Just remember that, if any more longer/deeper discussion arises about a subject, starting a separate topic would be better.

And I just realized that, although I love many different types of music, folk and folk metal have something 'special' for me that other styles somehow do not have. There's a type of passion, mood, and energy in folk that I can connect to so much better than to other styles. And probably that's the reason why folk and folk metal are somehow the styles I see, more than anything else, as 'my' styles of music. (Although, I have to say, I have this feeling of 'connection' also with progressive rock, albeit for very different reasons.)

I prefer scream-singing over actual "singing"... like James Hetfield nowadays, when he sings live: Mastoaaaaaah of puppeeaaaahts... instead of MARSTERRR ORF PURPPERRTTSSSRRR >< like on the album... also Hansi's singing on ANATO and ATITM... it's too soft, it's ok sometimes like in Nightfall, but I miss the old times .-. oh well... Im getting old, and Im just an old fart that prefers action over gayness... lol

There's not much of a trick.... it consists of being too busy to eat. Find yourself urgent, time-consuming occupations. Like studying.
